Traverse Area Singles League gathers every Tuesday from April through August. Each week features a different course, along with weekly cash payouts, an ace pool, and a points series. This league is open to the public and doesn't require a season-long commitment or membership. 
You can either register in-person from 5:30pm-6:00pm or opt for a flex start, which means you can play anytime from sunrise to sunset.

Competition Manual for Disc Golf Events

Create your own group of 3-5 players. Failure to meet minimum group size requirements will result in removal from the league session.

Traverse Area Singles League participants seeking a group should check in at hole #1 on Tuesdays between 5:30-6:00pm.

The PDGA Digital Scorecard is to be used as the official scorecard. (Accessible through the PDGA Live app, or pdga.com/score)

  • Every player is required to maintain an individual scorecard, recording scores after each hole for the entire group. A player who refuses to keep score may be subject to disqualification.
  • Each player must submit their scorecard within 30 minutes of completing their round. A player who has not submitted their scorecard on time receives two penalty throws.

  • Session 1 (April 1 - May 6): 231tues1
  • Session 2 (May 13 - July 1): 231tues2
  • Session 3 (July 8 - August 26): 231tues3

After paying your entry fee, please check in on PDGA Live. You can tee off after forming a group with 3-5 league participants and setting up a scorecard.

Traverse Area Singles League operates on a flex start basis, meaning you can play anytime from sunrise to sunset.

Players are allowed to use materials or devices, such as ribbons, to assist in finding their disc.

If a tee area is deemed unsafe due to ice, players may tee off next to or behind the tee.

Snow play is only in effect when snow/ice are present.

Entry fee must be paid before the start of each round. Entry fees are non-refundable. Failure to pay entry fee will result in removal from the league session.

Each weekly entry includes a $3 league fee to cover expenses related to league operations.

Cash payments are accepted for entry into the Traverse Area Singles League on Tuesdays, from 5:30-6:00pm.

Weekly payouts are awarded to the top 25% in each division, disbursed via Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal.

If your annual cash earnings from leagues and tournaments organized by Aloft Disc Golf exceed $600, you need to complete a W9. Once the year concludes, a 1099 will be issued to you.

One dollar from every weekly entry fee is allocated to the league points series.

Points do not transfer between divisions. This is important to consider if you're planning to change divisions or if your PDGA rating might impact your division eligibility.

Points payouts are issued as merchandise vouchers to AloftDG.com

Traverse Area Singles League is a cumulative points series that is paid out at the end of the league season (April-August). Points payouts are awarded to the top 10% of each division. Divisional winners will also receive personalized trophy disc.

One dollar from every league entry fee is allocated to the league-specific Ace Pool.

Ace Pools are capped at $300. Additional Ace Pool(s) will be created once cap is met.

Current members of the Traverse Area Disc Golf Club qualify for 100% of Ace Pool payouts, while non-members are eligible for 20%.

Any remaining Ace Pools funds after Labor Day will be added to the Skinvitational.
